Existing Cluster Successes

The ten original Business Clusters have made remarkable progress, notably by forming a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the local municipality. This agreement enables businesses to tackle infrastructure challenges that affect them directly in the absence of municipal support. These clusters have implemented several successful projects, such as adopt-a-substation and adopt-a-leak, and have collaborated with community organisations like MES for cleanup efforts, rubble clearance, and various other initiatives. Some projects are done in partnership with the municipality, while others are independently managed by cluster members.
